From bubbles to butterfly — a skill-based programme that takes confident paddlers all the way to competitive strokes.
The lessons are tailored to your child's specific needs to ensure the fastest progress in a fun, encouraging environment. OtterSwim's skill-based system identifies and accelerates strengths while addressing weaknesses. Levels start with stroke improvement and survival skills, then gradually increase distance and stroke efficiency — eventually coaching your child to perform at a competitive level.

Is your little one able to paddle 5–7 metres without any help? If yes, then OtterSwim's Seal classes are for your child. Our lessons follow a multi-tiered programme built around your child's optimal progression — stroke mechanics for freestyle and buoyancy-control training that leads to independent swimming.

The Dolphin level is for kids who can already execute an overarm freestyle. Your child will learn to produce unassisted freestyle with bilateral breathing and backstroke with a kickboard. By the time they're ready to progress, they'll be prepared to develop backstroke skills and embark on breaststroke mechanics.

The Stingray level is for kids who can already swim freestyle at ease and assisted backstroke. Here your child perfects the stroke mechanics of freestyle and backstroke and embarks on breaststroke kicks. This is the first level where your child is encouraged to complete a full length of the pool — a kickstart to endurance training.

In the Swordfish level, the focus is to perfect breaststroke and introduce the butterfly stroke. This is OtterSwim's final level in the stroke-mechanics programme — certifying your child in mastering all four strokes while gaining the endurance to swim the full length of the pool.
